Ten Cent Friday

So....Brownwood may not have a Target, AE, Anthropologie, or World Market or H.E.B. but....we do have an amazing Salvation army that has ten cent Friday's. On Friday's EVERYTHING is only ten cents! It's amazing! So last Friday I cleaned house. Here are a few of my finds.

For those of you who love shopping but can't afford it...find yourself a Salvation Army with ten cent Friday's!

Whole Wheat Apple Bread

I made this bread Sunday morning and it turned out great.....so I thought I would pass it along.....

WHOLE WHEAT APPLE BREAD


1 c. oil
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. chopped apples
1 c. chopped pecans
2 tsp. vanilla

Combine oil, sugar, eggs. Combine flour, salt, soda and add to oil mixture. Add apples, nuts and vanilla.
Spoon into two greased 9 x 5 inch bread pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Turn out of pans before cooling completely.
